Recruitment and Selection

Teach For Lebanon’s Recruitment strategy is based on the following steps:

-         On-Campus campaigns: holding information booths, classroom presentations, senior seminars, recruiting junior students (Campus Captains) to help in spreading the word, participation in job fairs, sending mass emails from career guidance and placement offices, etc…

-         Supporting Media campaign: press articles, radio and TV ads, interviews, etc… to support in circulating the TFL program and call for applications.

TFL’s Selection process entails the following stages:

1.    Online Applications: applicants are shortlisted based on their academic achievements, social engagement, determination for change and leadership track as well as their alignment with TFL’s mission.

2.    Assessment Days: participants are selected based on a mock lesson, a personal interview, a group activity and a self-evaluation form. This stage intends to reinforce the selection criteria, validate the first screening, and filter-out candidates who do not suit TFL target profile.
